When my children were younger, the thought of trying to feed them while out and about was not an appealing thought – all I could picture was food going everywhere, and on their clothes!
After speaking with other mums, I realised I was not alone in feeling this dread but for years I would carry around a change of clothes, spare bibs, wet wipes and a plastic bag. This was on top of extra nappies, toys and anything else the kids insisted on bringing along for the outing. Usually I would forget a spare top for myself and have to walk around the shops with spills all over myself. What a nightmare!
One thing I love about looking for new products to stock, is finding handy items that will make our lives just that little bit easier. This is why I was thrilled to find the Little Green Pouch.
It’s a completely reusable, dishwasher safe food pouch that you can fill with baby food and smoothies for the older kids. The best part is, it’s mess free!
To make this product even better, you can attach these neat little spoons to the spout – it’s totally genius! The patented locking clip and stimulating tip teaches your baby to flatten his tongue, encouraging the transition from to nipple to spoon. Now that’s pretty cool!
If you are anything like me, you are always leaving the cap on the table and walking off…leaving it there. It’s so annoying! But never again! Keep a few extra caps in your bag and you’ll never be cap-less again.
With this handy product, you never need to worry about your messy eater again!

Holistic leaning is a philosophy of education based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning, and purpose in life through connections to the community, to the natural world, and to humanitarian values such as compassion and peace.
Holistic learning is play that stimulates the whole development of children so that they learn intellectually, physically and socially. A good example of holistic learning is playing with playdough or crayons. This allows a child to use their fine and gross motor skills, construction and creativity as well as language.
Infants and toddlers learn through all of their senses by touching, smelling, hearing, seeing and tasting the items in their environment. Choose natural toys that will promote these senses. Ordinary (safe) household objects like a shaving brush, containers, measuring cups, pegs can be used in holistic play for little ones, even playing with a piece of shiny fabric like silk promotes all their senses.
Playing in the water with bath toysis a fun holistic activity. It teaches them water safety, concepts such as wet/dry, float/sink and empty/full as well as fine tuning their fine and gross motor skills.
Getting the older kids helping out in the kitchen to bake bread or dinner is another holistic learning approach to teach them valuable life skills, maths and even science.
I would love to hear about what holistic play activities your little ones enjoy, leave me a comment below.
During our January giveaway I asked our followers if buying organic products is important to you. 99% of the answers submitted came back as a resounding YES! That made me fairly happy
I thought I would share some of responses with you.
“Yes buy Organic products for whole family when ever possible”
“Yes! Never use something on your skin if you can’t eat it!”
“I choose organic products wherever there is a choice. Unfortunately, there is not always a choice and I have to settle for non-organic. Hopefully this will change in the future as more and more organic products come on the market.”
“It’s so important that we start treating the planet better and not putting toxic chemicals on our produce is an important step”
“Yes,buying organic products is important to me because organic food tastes great and organic products reduce health risks!”
“Yes but with only being on one income I find organic products can be a wee but too expensive”

I was looking for a fun new way to showcase our new products, so last night I armed myself with the laptop, a glass of red wine and got busy. After a number of attempts (in part to train noises coming from Mr Scamps game and the cats knocking things over) I have completed my very first Scamps Boutique advert.
Watch the video below to see some of our new brands I have added during January.
The Parking Pal is my favourite, comment below and let me know which new product tickles your fancy.
